Laojun mountain play precautions
Booking tickets:
Laojun Mountain scenic spot implements the policy of “limited quantity, reservation, and wrong peak”, and adopts the real-name ticket purchase system. Please reserve your tickets on the OTA platform in advance to avoid being unable to purchase tickets due to restricted flow of scenic spots.
Ropeway service hours:
The first class cableway (Middle Spirit Cableway or Cloud View cableway) is up from 7:30 to 16:00 and down from 7:30 to 17:30.
The second-level ropeway (Fenglin ropeway) is up from 8:00 to 16:00 and down from 8:30 to 17:30.
The closing time of the cableway is 18:30, please arrange the time in advance to avoid missing the cableway service.
Weather and Clothing:
Laojun Mountain has a high altitude and low temperature, especially in the peak area. Please check the weather forecast in advance, wear warm clothing, and bring rain gear.
When hiking, it is recommended to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry hiking poles to reduce physical exertion.
Safety and Health:
Laojun Mountain scenic route is long, some sections are steep, please pay attention to safety, comply with the regulations of the scenic area, do not climb alone, do not climb over the railing.
High blood pressure, heart disease and other tourists should pay attention to safety, according to their own physical conditions reasonable arrangement of the trip.
Please protect the environment, do not carry fire, smoking and littering. Visitors with pets need to wear a leash and pay attention to avoid the elderly, children and other groups.
Tour time:
The walking tour is divided into daytime (6:30 to 15:30) and night climbing (22:30 to 23:00). Reservations for the night climb must be made by 8am daily and should be monitored for weather forecasts.
Laojun Mountain Scenic spot opens night view lights from 19:00 to 19:40 and 3:00 to 6:00 am daily, and may be suspended in case of bad weather or emergencies.
Tickets and ropeway tickets:
Adult tickets are 100 yuan and student tickets are half price.
First Class ropeway (Central Spirit Ropeway or Cloud View ropeway) is $70 per person on a single ride, $65 per person on a single ride, and $130 per person on a round trip.
The second class ropeway (Fenglin ropeway) is 45 yuan/person on the single, 40 yuan/person on the single, 80 yuan/person on the round trip.
Dining & Accommodation:
There are dining and accommodation services in the scenic area, but the price is relatively high. It is recommended that tourists book accommodation and meals in advance in Yamashita or Luanchuan County.
Water resources on the mountain are limited, and visitors need to bring enough water and food during the tour.
Luggage Storage and Rental Services:
Luggage storage service is available in the scenic area, and visitors can leave their inconvenient luggage at the visitor center.
At the entrance of the ropeway, you can rent cloaks and other thermal supplies, the cost is 30 yuan/piece.
Comply with scenic area regulations:
During the tour, please abide by the rules and regulations of the scenic spot, do not climb trees, do not paint, do not pick flowers, do not damage cultural relics and buildings and other facilities.
Operating vehicles are not allowed to enter the park (except buses that have been registered with the tour).
Other points to note:
To watch the sunrise, stay at the top of the mountain or take the ropeway up the mountain in advance, and arrive at the viewing position 20 minutes in advance.
During the holidays, there may be queues for cableway rides, it is recommended to plan the trip in advance, reserve enough time, and abide by civilized etiquette and orderly queuing.
