CHINA EXPLORER Education

CET Edu is the educational arm of China Explorer Tour, created to offer meaningful and transformative travel experiences for international families and school communities exploring China. We believe learning should happen beyond classrooms—in forests, on city walls, around village tables, and under the stars.

Authentic, thoughtful by design

Why Choose CET Edu?

01

We Design for Learning, Not Just Travel

Every CET Edu program is built by educators, not just tour planners. We align trips with real learning outcomes—intercultural competence, environmental awareness, reflection—not just sightseeing.

02

China, Beyond the Obvious

We take students deeper into China: from cave camps in Guizhou to island temples in Tibet, from local farms to stargazing at FAST. Real places. Real people. Real questions.

03

Bilingual, Bicultural, and Built on 10+ Years of Experience

Our team is bilingual, bicultural, and fully hands-on from start to finish. We bridge cultures—not only for students, but for teachers, parents, and schools. No outsourcing, no templated tours—just personal, thoughtful, well-run learning journeys.

Genuine Feedback from our Valued Travelers and Partners

VOICE FROM OUR AUSTRALIAN PARTNER

Some connections in this world are truly special, and those built on partnership are nothing short of magical. Our shared vision—to deliver the very best of what we believe in—made this collaboration deeply meaningful. I’m delighted to say that together, we achieved something remarkable. In the past, I’d often worry about the depth of a guide’s insight or a driver’s expertise. But from the moment we began working with your team, those concerns vanished. Two moments, in particular, captured the spirit of this journey:First, at White Deer Plain, one of our 12-year-old students fell ill and needed medicine left on the bus. Though the group had already reached the destination by elevator, your driver, Mr. Guo, went far beyond his duty. He retrieved the medicine and climbed the mountain on foot to deliver it to her. That act of selfless kindness redefined what service means.Second, at the Daxingshan Temple, Bruce shared his profound knowledge of Buddhism with our students. While many initially struggled to grasp the cultural nuances, a young girl named Sophie not only understood but translated his wisdom into English for her peers. Witnessing Bruce’s joy in that moment—and seeing Sophie bridge cultures—was where our journey truly transcended. It embodied how Chinese culture should be shared: through patient, heartfelt storytelling that crosses borders. This collaboration didn’t just meet expectations—it transformed them. Thank you, Lesley, and the entire team at China Explore Tour, for such an inspiring experience. We look forward to many more journeys together.

Booking with confidence

China offers a powerful combination of ancient culture, cutting-edge science, and diverse natural landscapes—making it an ideal destination for both family adventures and structured school trips. Whether you’re exploring the Great Wall, learning calligraphy in a Beijing hutong, or visiting the world’s largest radio telescope in Guizhou, every moment becomes an educational opportunity.

Unlike sightseeing-focused tours, China Explorer Tour’s school and family programs are education-first experiences. Every activity is aligned with themes like STEM, history, environmental science, cultural immersion, and global citizenship. We also include reflection moments, hands-on projects, and peer interaction, making it truly transformational.

Yes! Our family-friendly school trips in China are open to independent families during designated seasons. You’ll join a small group of like-minded international families and enjoy all the benefits of an educational program—without needing to be part of an institution.

No worries— China Explorer Tour trips are fully English-supported. Our guides and educators are bilingual and trained to work with international children and families. We also include cultural orientation sessions to help your family feel more confident and connected.

Absolutely. We design age-specific activities for both younger children and teenagers, often with parallel tracks in the same destination. Teen-focused programs may include more independence, deeper cultural discussions, or project-based learning elements.

We offer curated educational tours in multiple regions:

  • Beijing & Xi’an: Ancient capitals, Chinese dynasties, Great Wall & Terracotta Warriors

  • Guizhou & Yunnan: Ethnic cultures, nature, caves, astronomy

  • Chengdu & Sichuan: Pandas, spicy cuisine, calligraphy & tea culture

  • Shanghai & Suzhou: Innovation, silk road history, urban design

More destinations are available for custom private or school-organized groups.

We believe in small group experiences. Most of our family trips and school programs limit group size to 10–16 participants, ensuring every child receives attention, can ask questions, and builds real connections with others.

WIFI is available in hotels. However, sometimes the signal might not be strong. It is recommended to have roaming on or obtain a sim/esim.
