Minimalist Elegance & Poetic Grace

1. The Song Dynasty (960–1279)

Our Song Dynasty Hanfu photoshoot captures the minimalist beauty of this refined era (960–1279). Unlike Tang opulence, authentic Song costume is celebrated for its simple, graceful lines and scholarly aesthetic. We feature iconic pieces like the ‘Beizi’ (褙子) jacket, perfect for an artistic or poetic portrait. This is the ideal Song Dynasty photoshoot for a quiet, elegant souvenir.

Ethereal Grace & Free-Spirited Artistry

2. The Wei-Jin Style (Wei-Jin Feng)

Embrace the ethereal, free-spirited aesthetic of ‘Wei-Jin Feng’ (魏晋风). This Wei-Jin style Hanfu (220–420 AD) is defined by its exaggerated wide sleeves and flowing, dream-like layers. It reflects an era of artistic freedom, making it the perfect choice for a poetic, ethereal Chinese robe portrait. Many also choose this style for a dramatic Wuxia costume photoshoot.

Ancient Power & Bold Authority

3. The Warring States Robe

Step into China’s ancient past with the ‘Shenyi’ (深衣), the powerful robe style from the Warring States period (c. 475–221 BC), often called ‘Zhanguo Pao’ (战国袍). This ancient Chinese costume predates the unified empire and is defined by its unique, elegant wrapped-front design (‘Quju’ or ‘Zhiju’) and expansive, flowing sleeves. Often featuring intricate embroidery with ancient motifs, this dignified costume is perfect for a powerful, noble, or mysterious portrait that feels truly timeless.
